And, summer was the season,
And, we were always dancing’ in the rain.

We knew when we were dancing’
Our love was more than passion.
And, we would never cause each other pain.

But, time it passed us by.

And, we found our love was left out in the rain.

You went off to college,
While I went in the service,
And, we were busy chasin’ other dreams.

When life began to change us
We answered different callings.
Our world was truly bursting at the seams.

Time has come between us,
We know that life has changed us,
And, we know we cannot live on memories.

That I have always loved you,
